From a small idea to a nationwide family of pet lovers.
How It All Began
Back in 2018, our founder Sarah was struggling to find durable, safe, and locally-made toys for her incredibly energetic Golden Retriever, Barnaby. Everything she found was either mass-produced with questionable materials or fell apart within minutes.
Realizing she couldn't be the only pet parent facing this dilemma, Sarah started curating the best Canadian-made pet products from local artisans. What began in her living room in Toronto quickly grew into Pawsitively Canadian—a community dedicated to quality and care.

Our Mission for Animal Welfare 🐾
We believe every animal deserves a loving home and a healthy life. That's why Pawsitively Canadian goes beyond retail. We actively partner with local shelters and rescue organizations across Canada.
A portion of every purchase goes directly towards funding emergency veterinary care for rescue animals. Furthermore, for every bed purchased, we donate a cozy blanket to a shelter in need. Our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals who haven't yet found their forever homes.
